The Games Go On! The Chelmsford Festival Continues on Saturday & Sunday

A great weekend of cricket is in prospect as Essex continue their battle against Leicestershire today in the LV= County Championship as day 4 sets to go down to the wire. Tickets are available on the gates with activities for young and old.

We have the Only Fools & Horses Reliant Robin at the ground where you can dress up as Derek Trotter himself and pose for a photo! We also have a fire engine to see and look around whilst the cricket is on.

On Sunday (5 August) the finale of the Chelmsford Cricket Festival takes place when Essex Eagles face Leicestershire Foxes in the Clydesdale Bank 40 competition. James Foster’s men will be looking for a successive victory in the group as the Festival mood is in full swing. Have your photo taken with an Olympic torch at the ground. There are activities in the Essex Auto Group Graham Gooch Cricket Centre for children with a chance to win your very own gold medal! We also have entertainment with balloon modellers, face-painters and a singer who will performing.

Tickets are on sale now online or on the gates priced only £10 for Adults & £1 for Juniors (under 18′s) with play to get underway at 1.45pm!
