Essex Eagles unveiled their new outfit for Twenty20 cricket at a photocall on Tuesday May 20 at The Ford County Ground. 

Now under the sponsorship of Essex Autogroup, the kit will be used by the Eagles for the Twenty20 Cup and the Twenty20 Floodlit Challenge in 2008.

Tickets are selling well for the upcoming Twenty20 Cup, with the game against Surrey Brown Caps on Friday June 20 close to a full house already. Meanwhile, capacity for all four other matches at The Ford County Ground is at least half-full with our opening home fixture still almost four weeks’ away.

Essex Eagles have five Twenty20 Cup group fixtures at The Ford County Ground, Chelmsford, this year:
Sunday 15th June v Middlesex Crusaders – 2.30pm start
Wednesday 18th June v Kent Spitfires – 7.00pm start
Friday 20th June v Surrey Brown Caps – 7.00pm start
Tuesday 24th June v Sussex Sharks – 7.00pm start
Friday 27th June v Hampshire Hawks – 5.30pm start

Essex Academy v PCA Masters
The Graham Gooch Essex Cricket Academy take on the PCA Masters in a floodlit Twenty20 match on Friday June 6 at The Ford County Ground.

Admission is free and play is scheduled to start at 7pm.

The provisional PCA Masters line-up is as follows:

Essex Eagles v Hampshire Hawks
Essex Eagles take on Hampshire Hawks in the second leg of the Twenty20 Floodlit Challenge at The Ford County Ground on Friday September 5.

Play is scheduled to get underway at 7pm and a period of Five5 will be played if the tie is one-all over the two legs.
