30th Anniversary Dinner
The Essex Boundary Club is staging a 30th Anniversary Dinner at The Ford County Ground on Wednesday 24th June 2009 to celebrate Essex's first major successes - winning the County Championship and Benson & Hedges Cup in 1979.
Most of the players from that squad will be present on the evening including David Acfield, Mike Denness, Ray East, Graham Gooch, Brian Hardie, John Lever, Alan Lilley, Keith Pont and Stuart Turner.
The event will take place in the pavilion marquee and the cost to members is £45 and £55 for non-members.

AWAY MATCH TRAVEL PLANS
Sunday 19th July - Gloucestershire v Essex at Cheltenham
Our first away trip in the NatWest Pro40 Division One will be to Cheltenham on Sunday 19th July. Our coach will depart from The Ford County Ground, Chelmsford at 09.00hrs with pick ups at Romford (09.15hrs) and Gants Hill (09.30hrs). The cost is £25 per person to Boundary Club members; non members welcome at £29 per person.
Monday 7th to Thursday 10th September - Somerset v Essex floodlit match at Taunton on 8th September.
Staying at the magnificent Langstone Cliff Hotel, Dawlish. Three nights bed and breakfast is £280 per person based on two people sharing (single supplement £60).

BENEFITS OF MEMBERSHIP INCLUDE:
- Marquees: Approximately 25 marquee days are scheduled during each season.
- Complimentary Tickets: Each member receives one ticket for a home Championship match and one for a one day League (non-floodlit) Cup game.
- EBC Times 2009: This popular home matchday newsletter is free to members and can be collected from the EBC office or marquee on match days or you can have copies posted to your address at a cost of £6.50 for the season.
- 2009 Diary: Boundary Club diary at the special rate of £7.50.
- Coaches: Coaches are organised to all away League and one-day Cup games at a discount rates for members.
- Social events: There is an annual Quiz Night, Early Season Lunch at the County Ground, Barbecue during Southend Festival, two City Lunches and a monthly Sunday Lunch Club. In addition, this year, we have organised a trip to Le Touquet and a race day at Newmarket.
