Inter Cricket

The ECCB have been running the Inter Cricket competition for around 8 years.

There is an U13 boys/mixed, an U13 Girls and U15 Girls competition (the girls competitions are sponsored by Lady Taverners).

Around September time, all secondary schools across Essex and Met Essex are invited to enter the competitions, and given a deadline by which to apply. They are then divided into groups, depending on their areas, and play against each other in a round robin style. The 4 overall winners from each competition progress to the finals, which are held in the Graham Gooch Cricket Centre at The Ford County Ground.

Winners are presented with medals and a trophy; the winners of the two girls’ competitions will progress on to the Lady Taverners Regional Finals.
