2011
Considering the amount of rain that took place over the last couple of days play between Brentwood CC and Ilford CC began on time with both teams competing for the Peter Coe Cup with Brentwood reigning champions. Ilford CC won the toss and elected to field first.

With Ilford's great bowling only allowed Brentwood to score 10 runs off their first 10 overs but Brentwood hadn't lost a wicket so far. Brentwood then increased there run rate and at the half way point had put 48 on the board with a loss of two wickets. Showers began to start but the umpires persisted through and the sky soon cleared up without any problems. At 30 overs Brentwood had broken the 100 barrier and Ilford had gained 2 more wickets making it 108 for 4 going into the last 10 overs of the game. Brentwood lost a further 5 wickets but had put on 48 runs leaving themselves defending 156 runs for a loss of 9 wickets.
Ilford started their innings and reached Brentwoods score at 10 overs in just 3. But the rain came and play was stopped but no sooner did the umpires go off the pitch the rain stopped. The groundsman did a great job in clearing the pitch and managed to carry on play with no loss of overs. Ilford returned and scored 20 off 10 overs for the loss of 1 wicket. At the half way point Ilford were 11 runs ahead of Brentwood at the same stage of the innings but had lost 1 extra wicket than they did. With Ilford at 59 for 3 the final seemed to be a close game. Unfortunately for Ilford they kept losing regular wickets and were bowled out by Brentwood for 98 in 30 overs with a winning margin of 58 runs.
Celebrations started with Brentwood being crowned the 2011 Peter Coe Cup Champions two years in succession.
