LV=County Championship / Yorkshire Bank 40 – If you are a member arriving at The Essex County Ground you can enter at any gate after the gates are open. If you are a non-member then you can enter at any gate except the members gate next to the Pavilion.
Friends Life t20 – On a Friends Life t20 game anyone can access the ground through any gate, although it is advised you enter nearest your seat if you have reserved.
If you are a visitor to The Essex County Ground, you will need to report to Reception in the Essex Cricket Retail shop. Please note that the Reception is only accessible through the New Writtle Street entrance to The Essex County Ground.
If you are visiting The Essex County Ground on a non-matchday and not a conference delegate, then you need to report to Reception in the Essex Cricket Retail shop to sign in.
If you are a conference delegate, please go straight to the conference room booked by your organiser, which should of been communicated to you.
Parking for the Essex Cricket Retail shop and Reception is available for short stays.
On Matchdays, Parking is free to members but very limited. On certain matchdays, parking may be closed to members, so please check the Matchpack for the latest parking information.
There is also an additional car park – Meteor Way – which is free for members to access on certain match days which is just off Waterhouse Lane. There is a pathway that connects this car park to the back of our ground which follows along the river.
Pay & Display parking is also available on matchdays for the floodlit Yorkshire Bank 40 and Friends Life t20 matches at The Essex County Ground. The High Chelmer car park is open until 10.30pm for all fixtures featured on the ‘Car Park Timetable’.
Park and Ride service to The County Ground are available from two places.
The nearest bus stop is Parkway or the High Street (Back of Marks & Spencer).
