Essex swap cricket balls for footballs - training with Southend United FC

The Essex First XI Squad joined in with Southend United FC on Tuesday as they continue their work for the start of the season.

Southend Manager Steve Tilson put both squads through their paces. A number of the Essex players showed their skills with a ball of a slightly different size!

Paul Grayson, Essex First XI Coach added, “It was a fun session – the lads really enjoyed it. We head to Barbados on Friday where the serious preparations begin. We would like to thank Steve Tilson and everyone at SUFC for making us feel welcome. The players really enjoyed themselves and we wish them well for the remainder of their season”.
