The Essex Cricket First XI are looking forward to starting the 2012 campaign with the three 2011 academy players (Reece Topley, Ben Foakes and Tymal Mills) now professionally contracted along with spin bowler Tom Craddock and our latest signing, Greg Smith & Charl Willoughby. Under the leadership of Head Coach Paul Grayson and the captaincy of James Foster, Essex hopes to make 2012 a landmark year for success.

Twenty20 – reached finals day 2006, 2008, 2010
