2011-12 sees the launch of the Essex Fast Bowling Academy, led by our Fast Bowling Coach, Chris Silverwood.

Players have been selected from around the county to embark on a weekly programme throughout the winter including fitness, field placement, use of Pitch Vision software and, of course, fast bowling technique.
