There is less than a week left for clubs in your County to sign up to the ECB Club Open Days scheme, supported by Waitrose.
Last year over 1,200 clubs hosted a Club Open Day and raised over £660,000 in total whilst attracting over 3,000 new players and 4,000 new volunteers into the game.
This year The ECB and Waitrose are trying to create a ‘summer of cricket’ with as many Open Days taking place in July and August as possible and encouraging clubs to welcome children and families to ‘Join the Fun’.
Clubs taking part so far in 2016 are planning a huge range of activities including mini tournaments, parent v junior matches, fun days, BBQs, fancy dress races, music festivals, auctions and much more. Some clubs are even combining an U19 T20 match and having an ‘Open Evening’. The possibilities are endless!
Don’t forget as well that registered clubs will get £100 to spend at Waitrose and an exclusive ECB Club Open Days Goodie Box including t-shirts, aprons, bunting and much more.
