Essex Disability Teams reach Semi-Finals!

Both the Essex Physical & Learning disability teams have made it through to their respective semi-finals.

The Super 9’s team (incrediball) won their division for the 2nd year running and head into a semi-final against Somerset on the 7th August at Kidderminster Cricket Club. This is the 3rd year the team have been playing in the league, last year they went all the way to the final before losing to Derbyshire. This year they hope to go one better and win the title.

The D40 team (hardball) have made it through to the semi-finals for the first time. They finished runners up in their group and take on Shropshire also at Kidderminster Cricket club, this time on the 14th August.

It is a great achievement for both county teams to get through to the semi-finals. The county is only one of a handful to get both teams through to the semi-finals in the same year and are hoping to become only the second team to win both formats in the same year.
