Essex’s latest signing, Will Rhodes celebrated his first wicket in an Essex shirt on Day Three against Derbyshire in the Specsavers County Championship. The loanee from Yorkshire bowling impressively at the 3aaa County Ground ending the day with 1-22 from his 13 overs which included 7 maiden overs.
Rhodes is on loan until the end of the season in red ball cricket and will now look ahead to final day’s play to wrap up the game ahead quickly with the home side still trailing by 152 runs with just 5 wickets remaining.
