Essex Eagles return to action for Charity

The annual match between Essex and Upminster Cricket Club takes place on Sunday (4 September), and will once again be raising money for charity. The match begins at 1:30pm and takes place at Upminster Park.

This year, the match will be raising funds for the Essex Cricket Foundation, the official charity of Essex County Cricket Club helping enhance the cricketing environment in Essex & surrounding areas for all.

Essex will be naming a strong side to take on Upminster CC, with the likes of Ryan ten Doeschate, Ravi Bopara, Nick Browne and David Masters pulling on the Eagles shirt for the 30-over a side match!

This will be the 18th time the sides have come up against each other, since the first match in 1997. Entry for the match i £2.50 which includes a programme for the match.

Essex Cricket would like to thank Upminster Cricket Club for hosting the match once again this year and to all the sponsors and partners who have come on board to help make the event possible.
