Essex opener, Nick Browne reached 1,000 runs in the Specsavers County Championship in the final home match of the 2016 season. After leading the way for most of the season, Browne had seen teammates, Tom Westley and Ryan ten Doeschate reach the milestone in recent weeks but with just 20 runs required in his second innings against Glamorgan, the batsman reached the landmark!
