Essex Players Overseas | Paul Walter excels with the bat

After a slow start to his time in Australia, Paul Walter has began to find some form, scoring 40 and 99 in his last two innings for the Deepdene Bears as well as taking 1/23 from his 8 overs at the weekend.

Dan Lawrence has continued to churn out runs for his side Wanneroo District Cricket Club. Dan has now scored 348 runs at an average of 69.6 since being out in Australia as well as taking 6 wickets. Hopefully he will maintain his form throughout the winter and carry it through into the 2017 season!

Callum Taylor is still finding his feet for Mount Lawley, averaging 14.2 with the bat, however his bowling has been more positive having taken 7 wickets at 19.2.

Kishen Velani is currently in Wellington playing for a team called Petone-Eastbourne Cricket Club. Kish has played 4 matches (1 abandoned) and has scores of 20, 15 & 2 with the bat and he has figures of 1/18, 1/56 & 1/33 with the ball.

We will continue to update the website with the progress of the players overseas, as and when we have it.
