The Eagles got a first win on the board after a 3-wicket victory over Middlesex on Friday night! After a solid start from openers, Varun Chopra and Adam Wheater, it came down to the penultimate ball of the match as Simon Harmer, supported by Adam Zampa, found the boundary clinched the points at The Cloudfm County Ground.
Harmer spoke to Essex Cricket TV after play to reflect on the win as the team now get prepped for a trip to the Kia Oval on next Thursday.
