Live Stream Returns for Pre-Season Friendlies

The 2021 season is set to get underway on April 8 with domestic cricket across the UK continuing to be played behind-closed-doors until Government restrictions permit.

However, the Club is delighted to continue offering our live stream platform to bring Members and supporters close to the action with a new and improved service across every game at The Cloudfm County Ground. Following the success of our production last season, further developments will be introduced as we begin our title defence of the LV= Insurance County Championship and Bob Willis Trophy.

Ahead of the game against Worcestershire next month, there will be an opportunity to watch Tom Westley’s men in action during three pre-season friendlies beginning on Tuesday 23 March against Lancashire. A live test stream will be broadcast via the Essex Cricket Match Zone and Essex Cricket TV YouTube channel as the new enhancements are rolled out for supporters to enjoy.

Please note that ball-by-ball commentary will not be available for these games but we welcome back the BBC Essex for the opening match of the new season following the new 4-year deal between the ECB and BBC – read more.
