The Royal London Cup returns this week as the Essex Eagles prepare for the 50-over competition with a National Counties Challenge Match versus Cambridgeshire. The friendly fixture, which has been billed as a Cambridgeshire home match, has been switched to the Cloudfm County Ground to mitigate against any possible COVID-19 regulations that could have been in place, but have since been relaxed.

Play is scheduled to start at 2pm and will be played under floodlights, offering Members of the Essex Squad the chance to stake their claim for selection during the first match of the Royal London Cup competition, which starts on Thursday at Southampton against Hampshire.

As a 2021 Member, you can attend today’s fixture as part of your Membership, along with all four home games in the Royal London Cup. You are not required to apply for a ticket and can access the ground by scanning your Membership card on the entrance gate.

Tickets are available to the General Public for the National Counties match and for the Royal London Cup but all tickets must be purchased in advance of arrival at The Cloudfm County Ground. There will be no ticket sales on the entrance gates.
