Club Cricket Academy to run bowling & wicketkeeping masterclass sessions

Some of Essex’s star players will be running masterclass sessions with Club Cricket Academy over the next few months, and there’s still time to book a place.

With 649 Essex wickets between them, new ball partners Jamie Porter and Sam Cook will be conducting a bowling masterclass. They’ll be guiding youngsters on a range of bowling subjects, such as how to swing the ball both into and away from the batter, how to develop a consistent stock ball and how to master different techniques for variation balls.

First Team gloveman Adam Wheater will be running a wicketkeeping masterclass, advising on how to stand up to the stumps to both spinners and seamers, how to handle the pace of seamers and how to take dismissals with diving catches and stumpings.

The sessions will be taking place at Ockendon Academy, South Ockendon, and prices start from just £49. To book your place, please click here.
