Covid-19 Ticket Policy (Refund & Roll Back)

The following policy is in place for all 2021 fixtures and applies to advance ticket sales only. Hospitality bookings are covered by separate ‘Terms and Conditions’ supplied at the time of booking.

The COVID-19 Ticket Policy (Refund and Roll Back) is in addition to the standard ‘Terms and Conditions’ available on the Club website or upon request from the Membership & Ticketing Office.

• In the event of a match being played behind closed doors due to COVID-19 Essex Cricket will provide a full refund of ticket(s) affected to the payment owner. Refunds will be made back to the original payment card wherever possible. If this is not possible (for example sales made by other means) the purchase owner will be contacted by the Club.

• In the event of a match being played with a reduced capacity due to COVID-19 Essex Cricket will prioritise tickets purchased in chronological order up to the maximum capacity possible. All ticket holders will be contacted with further details if this is necessary. Any ticket holder who can no longer be accommodated will receive a full refund. Refunds will be made back to the original payment card wherever possible. If this is not possible (for example sales made by other means) the purchase owner will contacted by the Club.

• Any operational change to the event will be communicated to the named ticket purchase owner via email. Due to the nature of the pandemic guidelines may change quickly and Essex Cricket will act as swiftly as possible to inform ticket holders of any change.

• Attendance will be subject to the named ticket purchase owner having read and agreed the ‘Covid-19 Spectator Code of Conduct’, the ‘COVID-19 Ticket Policy (Refund and Roll Back), the standard ‘Terms and Conditions’ and completion and return of the ‘Health self-assessment’ 24 hours prior to the match. It is the named ticket purchase owner’s responsibility to ensure that all ticket holders within their purchase have read and agreed the listed documents and completion and return of the ‘Health self-assessment’ 24 hours prior to the match.

All terms and conditions listed in the Covid-19 Ticket Policy (Refund & Roll Back) are subject to change in line with Government Guidelines.
