Jack Plom, a bowler of genuine pace, has long been highlighted as a potential first-team opening bowler as he grew through the Essex Academy. Also being recognised at the international level, appearing for the England U19s in the 2017 and 2018.
Making his debut in September 2020, the Vitality T20 blast has often been where Plom has been a preferred option. Playing 13 matches over the 2020 and 2021 seasons, he’s taken 16 wickets at an average of 24.43.
