Adam Rossington, who joined the Club just ahead of the 2022 season, regularly had a positive affect for Northamptonshire across all formats, averaging 35.42 and has taking nearly 200 catches in red-ball cricket.
After making his debut in the inaugural game of the 2022 LV= Insurance County Championship season, it didn’t take Rossington long to make his first key contribution coming against Somerset in just his second game. Although not a huge score, Rossington scored a vital 29* (49), as wickets fell around him, in Essex’s pursuit of just 84. Rossington was there at the end as Essex won by the solitary wicket.
The first half of July 2022 saw Rossington in unassailable form across both white and red ball. He brought up the highest score (95 off 50 balls) of Essex’s T20 Blast campaign before breaking three figures (100 off 151 balls) for Essex for the first time against Surrey.
