ECiC Non-Executive Directors

Essex Cricket in the Community (ECiC) invites applications from persons interested in joining the ECiC Board as non-executive directors who have interest/experience in some or all of the following areas: Club Development, Legal, Governance, EDI (Equality, Diversity and Inclusion), management and Community cohesion linked to Regional engagement and support.

This is a great opportunity to be involved in a dynamic, progressive organisation that is looking to Excite, Engage and Enhance the communities of East London, Essex and East Anglia through the power and opportunities of Cricket.

Partnership Co-ordinator

Essex Cricket are recruiting for a Partnership Co-ordinator, which will be a fixed-term position until the end of the 2022 domestic cricket season. The successful candidate will show strong administrative and communicative attributes, and be able to support the day-to-day and matchday functions of a newly structured Commercial Department.

Commercial Marketing Executive

Essex Cricket are seeking a Commercial Marketing Executive to support the delivery of the department’s marketing strategy and activity plan.

The successful candidate will also have the responsibility of managing commercial communications and supporting with sponsorship and events opportunities throughout the year.

We are looking for a creative and organised person who is happy with flexible working within a busy sporting environment.

Ground Staff – Seasonal

Essex Cricket have a temporary position available in the Club’s Grounds Team. The position is based at The Cloudfm County Ground, Chelmsford and requires a hard-working individual who thrives being part of an outdoor team.

Sports Psychologist – Senior/Pathways Squads

The Club are looking to hire a Sports Psychologist which will focus on the senior squad, as well as the youth pathway players. The successful candidate will become an active member of the coaching and sports science teams to assist in developing and evolving the mental side of the game and well-being.

The days/hours of work are flexible with a total of 55 days annually, which includes a minimum of 30 days with Graham Gooch Academy and Emerging Player’s Programme.

Bar Staff

Essex Cricket are looking for passionate, reliable, and trustworthy members of staff to join the Club’s bar staff. This is an opportunity to learn new skills in the hospitality industry and be part of a winning team, sharing the success on and off the field of play.

Previous experience is preferred, and you can also take advantage of:

• Opportunity to progress and take advantage of shifts all year round
• Training to a high standard achieving industry acknowledged certificates
• Gain experience in Catering, Hospitality, Events and Conferencing
